Our first piece in this new series is a deceptively large cuff(that blue kyanite bead is 1.5″ high!). It’s paired with turquoise chips, Bali silver, and copper. There is no elasticity to the bracelet so it closes easily with a simple magnetic clasp.
SUCCESSFUL DESIGN CONCEPTS

As a designer, there are few things that are as exciting as coming up with an idea and discovering that the final product matches the original sketch.
These are the first official pieces of 2013 and I’m happy to see the year is starting off well.
Using recycled resin spikes(never underestimate the value of sample sales for supplies), faceted turquoise teardrops, red jasper, coral, bali silver and oodles of silver chain, these two necklaces work wonderfully alone or together.

I thought it would be a fun idea to make a necklace that can be worn many ways. Here we have the convertible necklace. I’ve already discovered 9 different ways to wear this piece, changing it from casual to dressy with a few simple adjustments. I can’t wait to see where I will take this one after the prototype turned out so well.
This necklace will be available at Sanavita. Read more about their great store here… http://www.sanavita.ca
